Statistical calculators
Move from descriptive statistics to advanced inferential procedures with focused tools for common research questions.
About DataStatPro
DataStatPro brings statistical analysis, guided learning, visualization, and research reporting into one browser-based platform for researchers, students, educators, and applied analysts.
Why we built it
DataStatPro was founded by Prof. Dr. Nadeem Shafique Butt through DSRConsult LLC to connect statistical theory with a practical, inspectable analysis workflow. It helps users choose methods, check assumptions, calculate and visualize results, and communicate estimates and uncertainty.
Alongside the software, DataStatPro publishes a knowledge base, focused statistical definitions, comparison guides, and online books. These resources connect concepts such as p values, confidence intervals, effect sizes, ANOVA, regression, sample-size planning, and epidemiological measures to documented analysis workflows. Feature availability and data access vary by plan.
What you can do
Use focused calculators, full analysis workflows, educational resources, and interactive graphics without moving between disconnected tools.
Move from descriptive statistics to advanced inferential procedures with focused tools for common research questions.
Work from a modern browser without downloading or maintaining desktop statistical software.
Build understanding through online books, definitions, tutorials, comparison guides, and guided analysis.
Create clear, publication-ready charts that support exploration, interpretation, and research communication.
Editorial process
Our publishing and verification practices help users understand where statistical guidance comes from and how covered calculations are checked.
Guidance is reviewed for clarity, internal consistency, transparent assumptions, and alignment with the linked analysis workflow.
Each published article retains an identified author. An individual reviewer is named when that specific review has been documented.
Covered calculations use deterministic fixtures and independently executed Python, R, or SPSS results with aligned statistical methods.
Publication dates reflect original release, while updated dates identify substantive changes to guidance or examples.
People behind the platform
DataStatPro combines specialist statistical expertise with a clearly identified publishing team.
This byline identifies guidance published collectively by DataStatPro. It covers statistical workflows, data preparation, software comparisons, and research reporting. Team-authored articles represent the publisher's guidance; named statistical reviews are identified separately on the relevant page.
Founder of DataStatPro and an applied statistician whose documented expertise includes biostatistics, epidemiology, survival analysis, health data science, and research methodology. He is a named author of DataStatPro's Biostatistics and Business Statistics books.
